Remade all the time…

Yesterday was a very eventful day. I woke up early and went to my sister’s to visit with

and Isiah and precious baby Eli. We made breakfast burritos. It was fun.
I left to go take a test, then my bro came over with his girlfriend’s pup, Blue. Maya and Blue played vigorously for a while, and then there came a dominance struggle that was interesting to watch. It wasn’t a fight, just staring and a grumble or two. Maya won, which she never does- i think it must be because he was on her turf. Regardless, I was proud of her for stepping up and not letting this new dog just reign- which she usually does. She’s always submissive. Anyway, after she established dominance Blue was laying down and showing his belly.  After that he started to chew on her muscle thingy, so Ben asked if that was ok. I said it was with me if it was with her, and she didn’t seem to mind. Then Blue left for something else, and Maya actually grabbed the muscle and set it in front of him. It was really cool. My dog is a sharing dog. SHE LIKES TO SHARE!

I thought they were just beautiful… What a family!

Jeff and I and Doug went out last night to see Mahoney. They were awesome- really amazing performers so it’s worth it to see them live if you get the chance and are in town. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start to tour and come to a town near you! They really were that good. I love local music. I had a rockin time, but later Jeff and I got into one of our uglier fights over nothing really. It was sucky, so I took a late night walk.
This morning he woke up earlier than I did and made me coffee. We both apologized and hugged for a while, and we decided to make a breakfast quiche. We named it accordingly. I love my partner. I even love our fights.
