Nashville and life in general…

Nashville was awesome. It’s warm(er) and the people are so nice! I saw great music, went to local hot-spots and also explored the “hole-in-the-wall” type places. We drank, we danced, we played music, we slept in, we met a million people, and Katy got a new boyfriend (random, i know). All in all, it was a success. The only bad part really was driving through Dayton, Ohio. Ick! Smelled like garbage and exhaust, and it may be the most depressing place ever. My friend at work called it “the anus of the U.S.”. Sort of disgusting, but true.
It’s good to be home, I missed Jeff a ton. It’s funny, as soon as I got back on Saturday we started playing and cuddling constantly, and it’s still going. Last night we were chasing each other around the house throwing cookies at each other and playing airplane (for those of you unfamiliar with this game, one person lays on their back and lifts the other person in the air so they “fly”) My legs are surprisingly strong!
It’s hard to be back at work. I feel sorta pouty about it. I should cut myself some slack though, I just got back from vacation! It made me envy the people that don’t have jobs/obligations though. They could be going on so many adventures! Alas, I need to eat and have shelter, so I must work. Bleh. I like my job a lot, I just…um…don’t like coming to it.
Welp, that’s all for now, gotta get back to work.
Nick in Tennessee Quotes:
“My middle name’s Ray. You know A-R-Y.”
“Where’s your luscious Bo-hunk?”
“Kiss my grits!”
“I have a dirty, filthy, whorish mouth.”
“I want a dirty, disgusting, filthy, down-right nasty martini.”
He was a riot, and a wonderful host. Yay for Nick.
