It’s a beautiful Sunday… what should i do?

Last night was nice 🙂 My hubs and I cooked dinner together. It was delicious. Scalloped potatoes, a veggie stir-fry thingy, and chocolate chip butterscotch bars ala mode. Yippee! Sometimes the simplest things we do together are the best.
I then proceeded to whoop him in Scrabble. I feel the need to use that word because it is usually what happens to me (he reads lots of philosophy).
I think i’m going to start making my own bread.

So, there are these 3 houses across the street from us that we’ve been watching for the past year. See, our house is the kind where, when the weather permits, we’re on our front porch whenever we get the chance. Jeff even set it up so he could brew beer there this summer.
Most of the houses on our street, even the ones with kids, are rarely opened up. Blinds are closed, people are shut away inside. So we got to know some of our neighbors, but the majority of them don’t come outside, so we’ve had to make up stories about them. Naturally…
So these houses were owned by a small catholic college nearby, but the college was sold, and so the houses are being rented out. There are a few people that have moved into one, but I haven’t seen any others. I’ve decided to be “Grace the spy!” for a bit, for fun, because I will miss the families that used to live there and the stories we came up with. So stay tuned!

Quote of the day: “We all dream; we do not understand our dreams, yet we act as if nothing strange goes on in our sleep minds, strange at least by comparison with the logical, purposeful doings of our minds when we are awake.” -Erich Fromm
