Yes!
So, it’s been a snowy and beautiful few days…. um, nevermind. I just picked up the phone and… WE GOT THE HOUSE!!! We offered, they countered, we countered, and they said "Yes." Woohoo!!! I’m straight beaming right now.
We were a little worried about a crack in the foundation which we got checked out today, and apparently that’s all ok too. Oh, and we’re also maybe getting a large sum of grant money. It’s a good day. Oh geez- packing? I’ve gotta pack?

Dec. 8th:
I am gonna miss this place.
Dec. 9th:
Since my grandparents moved into this assisted living place, my grandma got rid of a bunch of her stuff. The other day we got our pick of pots and pans and pie plates and hot pads and towels galore. It was fun.
Dec. 12th:
I made this scarf for my mom for her birthday. It turned out pretty well, I think.
Dec. 13th:
Tuula and Vera. Our little sweethearts. We had a photo session with them for my parent’s xmas cards, and this was one of the photos they used. The cute is lethal. Watch out.
Ok, I’m gonna go celebrate with my honey. HAPPY!!

Congratulations! It’s going to be stressful with all the paperwork and moving, but it is all worth it the first time you decide to do something and realize you don’t need to ask the landlord’s permission.
