They are crazy! It’s just so damn indirect all the time. People’s feelings getting hurt, strange cultish hirings, the people who want to move up but know they never will, the money spent on beverages and cake and not on creating a position the company really needs but doesn’t want to pay salary for. Icky.
This is why I am happy where I am. I am not trying to move up. I am comfortable and plan to do fulfilling and challenging work when I am done with school.
I am also grateful for my job, but it is hard watching people suffer because the company is no longer interested in their needs.
grr. It’s not different with non-profits either, I guess.
