Happy Birthday Eli!
First order of business- a warm and hearty welcome to a new baby boy born to my buddies Lindsay and Isiah. He couldn’t have chosen a better family, he’ll have loads of fun. I hear he was a whopping 9 pounds. He meant business in there. Anyway, I’m excited for them, and I can’t wait to see pictures of him 🙂 Life is good.
Since the end of the year is approaching, my bud
suggested a “LiveJournal Year In Review.” Apparently the first step is to go through your archives and find the first sentence of the first entry for each month. Then put them all together forming a crazy lil paragraph. I suggest you do the same. Note, if the first sentence is that of a poll or other such nonsense don’t bother with it, just move on to the next workable sentence. I also found that I start a good many entries with “So ya” or a variation of that sentiment, so I just skipped those sentences(because they aren’t really sentences) as well and will do my best in the future to start my entries with more attention grabbing word combos. Here goes:

Jeff and I threw a New Year’s party at our house. So for the past 2 days I’ve had an icky stomach flu. Yesterday my friend had a seizure in my house. Lately there has been a slew of unfortunate and seemingly unfixable events in my life. Spring is here for sure. So it’s interesting the people you meet early in life that pop up later on. Today was nice. I feel sooo good after that. I had my first wedding anniversary yesterday. Last night was nice 🙂 So it only took me about, hmm…FOREVER to get my password working… Look at what my Chrismas Cactus is doing!!!

And there it went. Fun huh? I patiently await step number two, as I’m sure all of you do.
I spent most of my day thinking about the past year actually. I had an opportunity to describe my life to someone new today, and it brought on thoughts about how I see my life these days, how I’ve changed, etc. It was an interesting thing because we both spoke candidly about ourselves. I think it was just different than the normal “oh I like this band and i work here and take classes…” I felt like I was able to paint her a picture and she painted one for me. Yep.
That’s all. I’m exhausted and Jeff said I have bags under my eyes.
