Gratitude Friday
So much to be grateful for! Where to start…
For my spunky girl, who is always surprising me. It never ceases to amaze me how this little baby that came out of my body is so… herself.
Can’t seem to get a non-blurry picture of her these days, but I figure that’s a good sign. She’s a 3 year old with places to go.
She woke her brother up with a scream the other day. When I told her that "we don’t do that!" She calmly said "Mama, it’s not your decision, it’s my decision."
Then the other morning she wanted to use her scissors to cut some fabric off of a magic wand I made for her cousin. I said she couldn’t and she said "Mama, I need you to TRUST ME."
I’m in for it with this one. And I really wouldn’t have it any other way…

Grateful that I got the new blog up and running. Here’s it is:

I’m just about done with working for the day. I’m throwing some soup on the stove, going to check on my many seedlings. Then I’m coming home to do yard work with my family, eat a warm dinner, then watch a movie with my love. Life is good.

What are you grateful for today?

I’m grateful that my literature review/study proposal draft (40 pages!) is DONE, and 3 days before the due date. I’m also grateful for my wonderfully supportive husband and partner in parenting, without whom I’d be tearing my hair out trying to finish it!
Oh boy, she is thinking big! Interesting times!
The new blog looks like a great canvas to start painting on. I am looking forward to checking out the content!
Today I am grateful for music and song so powerful it opens up the heart to let love and compassion flow. <3
