Bye Grandpa Herman!

So I just got back from the funeral for Jeff’s Grandpa. It was sad but good, like usual. I think it’s great when a family can come together and keep on keepin on. He was 91, so he had a good run. It looks like I’m gonna lose my Great Grandma soon. She’s 107, so it was bound to happen at some point. I guess she’s not eating anymore, so that’s a good hint that it may be soon.
I don’t mean to be depressing. It’s just the facts of my life this week.
There is also some stress going on between myself and my immediate family. So that’s unfortunate. What’s worse is that it all seems so trivial after today. I’m tired.
Next weekend we go to Nashville. I’m excited for that. It will be a needed break.
Anyhow, life is a mystery to me today, but I feel safe and happy- so that’s what I’ll focus on. I’m going to start the Te of Piglet too. I think that may be helpful.

Again, it’s all about staying grateful.
