Living in Community: Part 2

My energy is such right now that I have to dribble this out onto the page. I debated holding it in for the past few hours, but I can't sit still with my emotion- it's making me feel like I might burst and then collapse in on myself. It's moments like these that I'm grateful for this outlet.

The past year has been intense, to say the least. Those of you who know me well have the details, but for those that don't: In early October we decided to open our home and our lives to some of our dearest friends, who were also our partners in so many ways. We had the same goals, the same morals, the same energy and drive. Living in Community: Part 1

I really have so many thoughts swirling, so I'll do my best to keep this concise. Actually, this is just going to be "Part 1" of a multiple part series, so that I can kind of cover it all, not only to share but for my own future reference.

The big news is, we had our close friends (and farming partners) move in with us over the weekend. Two adults, Bri and Brett, and their two young kids, Lilly (3) and Jude (3 months). They have their own house, pets, and garden. They are not in financial trouble. They are not particularly far away from us, either.
