This Moment

I’ve seen a lot of these "This Moment" posts around the blogosphere, and while they usually happen on Fridays, and I don’t ever participate (not for any particular reason, I just haven’t before…), I thought it was a lovely idea to do it right now. My house is quiet, all is well, I’m healthy and happy and so are my loved ones. I want to stay in the moment for the next few days, despite other people’s loving and eager anticipation of our new baby. It’ll happen. But this is what is happening right now.

This is a wonderful post. I’ve never seen a “This Moment” post before, but I like the idea.
Your photos are great–such beautiful light in all of them, but especially in the second, with the window and the little cushioned bench.

Yay for a simple moment! I’ve seen that on Soule Mama, but I don’t really read many blogs, so I’ve not seen it elsewhere. And yes, indeed, each day is a good day to reflect on staying in the now-it’s so easy to get caught up in anticipation, planning, worry and such.
