I’m just up at 6:30am on a Saturday morning for fun…
Not!
I don’t really know what labor feels like, but I couldn’t sleep through the uncomfortable feeling that was rushing like a wave from my back around to my belly. It feels different this morning. I woke up at 4:30 with a milder version of what I’m feeling now, managed to go back to sleep for a little while, but now I think I’m just up. I’m gonna try to time these suckers to see if it’s the real deal. If it’s not today then it’s soon.

HEY FRIENDS O’ GRACIE
She is indeed in labor, and has been all day! Last I checked in with her (about 8pm), her contractions were coming on regular and getting stronger, about 2 minutes apart. Not in transition yet but really active, intense labor. She had just recently started asking for some help to cope with contractions (I think our Mom is breathing with her through them…that’s what she did when she helped me through my labor).
She’s been awesome and calm all day long, mostly coping with contractions quietly and on her own.
If I were a bettin’ girl I’d say this baby’ll be out before midnight. WELCOME TO THE WORLD!
